Das Olympus OM g.Zuiko Auto-W 3.5 / 21mm ist die lichtschwächere Variante der 21mm-Objektive im OM-System. Kompakt und sehr leicht, aber bereits bei offener Blende schon sehr gut, Abblenden steigert Schärfe und Kontrast. Ein Randabfall ist - wie z. B. beim Zuiko Auto-W 1:2/21 mm - kaum festzustellen. Das Objektiv ist über den vollen Bildkreis ausgezeichnet korrigiert. Es macht einfach Spaß dieses Objektiv an verschiedenen Kamerasystem, ob analog oder digital zu verwenden. In meinem Video auf YouTube stelle ich euch das Objektiv im Detail vor.
Ich verwende dieses Objektiv an analogen Olympus Kameras, analogen sowie digitalen Spiegelreflexkameras der Canon EOS Serie sowie an meiner Sony A7III. Auch an Spiegelreflexkameras von Canon ist dies tatsächlich kein Problem. Ein entsprechender Adapter kommt ohne Linsensystem aus, sodass die Abbildungsleistung des Objektives nicht negativ beeinflußt wird!
Die lichtstärkere Alternative - das Zuiko Auto-W 1:2/21 mm - ist demgegenüber wesentlich größer, schwerer und erreicht (leider auch abgeblendet) nicht die optische Qualität der 3.5 21mm Variante.

The Olympus OM g.Zuiko Auto-W 3.5 / 21mm is the slower version of the 21mm lenses in the OM system. Compact and very light, but already very good at open aperture, stopping down increases sharpness and contrast. There is hardly any edge drop - as for example with the Zuiko Auto-W 1:2/21 mm. The lens is excellently corrected over the full image circle. It's just fun to use this lens on various camera systems, analog or digital. In my video on YouTube, I introduce you to the lens in detail.
I use this lens on analog Olympus cameras, analog as well as digital SLR cameras of the Canon EOS series and on my Sony A7III. Even on Canon SLR cameras this is actually no problem. A corresponding adapter does not need a lens system, so that the imaging performance of the lens is not negatively affected!
In contrast, the faster alternative - the Zuiko Auto-W 1:2/21 mm - is much larger, heavier and does not reach the optical quality of the 3.5 21mm variant (unfortunately also when stopped down).
